Marvellous and perfect location as only 5 minutes to Alberta Legislature Building. Fashionable, new-fashioned room with a separate bathroom and a hairdryer and bath sheets.

I was given king room with an iron, an electronic key card, coffee and tea making equipment. The breakfast at the place was marvellous with the rate. The accommodation had a very central location close to centre of downtown.

Rooms. And style
Had problem with billing, called hotel. Was patched through to hotel business manager. Left message but never received any call back.

great view but missing a lively vibe
The king suite had a fantastic city view. Breakfast options were excellent, with a great selection of tasty items.
We felt a bit out of place in such a business-oriented environment.

The hotel was just as advertised. It was a lovely boutique hotel. The room was comfortable, clean and the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast included was terrific. They had such a variety including a full hot breakfast if desired. Keurig coffee in the rooms was an added pleasure. Also, the wine tasting on the Friday night was very much appreciated.
Towels were a bit rough and our room had an adjoining door which the people on the other side opened at 2 A.M., a bit scary. Also, had to park down the alley in another lot the second night. But these little things did not really detract from the enjoyment of our stay.

They upgraded our room and were very accommodating.
Dust on side tables and desks. Hidden light switches.

Absolutely, , fabulous!
I was blown away by the very nice staff who treated us like royalty ! The complimentary wine tasting was a good touch, made the evenings so special, and the breakfast spread rocked my morning routine with its delicious variety. Plus, the comfortable Superior King Room reminded me of a cozy oasis-loved every minute!

Staff was very friendly at the front desk. The buffet breakfast was included.
Nothing to nibble on ... I tried to ask someone but was directed to the wild flower wich is clearly not someplace to go for a snack!!! We ended up walking in the snowstorm accoss the street to a "cafe" which was closed at 5:00 pm and the doors were already locked. When we turned to go back towards the Matrix we noticed the Starbucks actually attached to the Matrix. While not ideal a bagel was my snack that day. The staff doesnt know where to direct the guest when they ask for clear directions like ... where can I get a snack to tied me over till supper hour. Actually seemed to enjoy sending us on a wild goose chase instead of helping! While free the breakfast was lacking in all aspects from heat level to variety.

Would stay here again
The King Room was super comfy with a tv, mini fridge, and microwave. Loved the fitness center for my morning workouts. Breakfast had great options like fresh pastries and juice, and I enjoyed the wine tasting with cheese in the evening. Really kind staff made everything smooth.

A family member recommended this to us, and we are glad they did. This is a nice modern hotel. The room was small, but had a very comfortable king size bed and comfortable chairs. The staff was excellent , the parking was free, and the complementary breakfast was the best we have had at any hotel. Location meant easy access to any place downtown, and 2 blocks away from an artery to the south, north or west. Breakfast featured a supply of newspapers, and a ready stocked buffet that the staff made sure was always re- freshed.
We felt everything was really good. The TV was initially a pain to operate, but once mastered, simple. The bathroom shower was ok, but the concern of too much humidity and not enough ventilation was there: no fan at all.
